EcoVadis, Workiva Partner on Scope 3 Data Solutions
Mark Segal
May 12, 2026
Sustainability ratings and solutions provider EcoVadis and business data and reporting solutions provider Workiva announced today the launch of a new strategic partnership aimed at enabling companies to access and utilize supply chain carbon emissions data.
According to EcoVadis, the new partnership forms part of its efforts to build its Carbon Data Network (CDN), a data exchange launched by the company last year, designed to enable procurement teams to connect suppliers’ primary carbon emission data directly into their Scope 3 reports.
Dexter Galvin, SVP Climate at EcoVadis, said:
“Meaningful climate action starts with data you can actually trust. By replacing industry averages with verified supplier insights, we’re enabling organizations to master the complexities of Scope 3 emissions. This new partnership is a vital step in transforming the global supply chain from a source of carbon risk into a driver of measurable climate resilience.”
Under the new collaboration, EcoVadis’ CDN will connect directly into Workiva’s carbon data management and reporting solution, Workiva Carbon, providing supply chain engagement and decarbonization workflows for the companies’ mutual customers, with EcoVadis serving as the data engine, and Workiva’s platform handing calculation and disclosure, utilizing granular supplier data instead of industry averages.
Mandi McReynolds, Chief Sustainability Officer, Workiva, added:
“As sustainability disclosure moves from voluntary to mandatory, companies need more than carbon accounting — they need carbon data that connects to their financial data. This partnership brings EcoVadis’ best-in-class Scope 3 supplier intelligence directly into Workiva’s platform, where it unifies with financial, risk, and sustainability data in a single audit-grade system.”
