Description: We are currently seeking a Manager of Energy and Building Performance to join our team at the Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC). In this role, you will report to the Manager of Sustainability and be responsible for driving developments in electrification, renewable energy, and sustainability commitments. You will work closely with MAC, airport tenants, state and federal government, and utilities to advance progress towards our sustainability goals, specifically reducing total greenhouse gas emissions by 80% by 2030 while maintaining our high standard of service and reliability. This is an exciting opportunity to have a direct and significant impact on our sustainability efforts.
Responsibilities:
– Drive developments in electrification, renewable energy, and sustainability commitments
– Collaborate with MAC, airport tenants, government, and utilities to advance progress towards sustainability goals
– Develop and implement strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions
– Oversee energy and building performance projects
– Provide leadership and guidance to team members
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
– Several years of experience in energy and building performance management
– Strong knowledge of electrification, renewable energy, and sustainability practices
– Excellent leadership and project management skills
– Strong communication and collaboration abilities
