Job Description:
Urban Sustainability Directors Network (USDN) is seeking a Federal Funding Program Specialist; Environmental Justice TCTAC Lead to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for helping local governments and community-based partners navigate, partner, and apply for federal grants to advance equitable climate action. Your main responsibilities will include matching projects to appropriate grant opportunities, coaching and advising local governments and community partners on effective partnership strategies, coordinating efforts with other TCTACs, and managing program delivery and engagement through the use of technology systems.
Qualifications:
– Minimum of 3-5 years of experience and/or education in federal grant programs and writing proposals
– Experience working with or within local government
– Strong knowledge of federal funding landscape and policy
– Expertise in advancing environmental justice efforts
– Ability to coach and guide local governments and community partners
– Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
– Experience with Salesforce and Alchemer is a plus
This is a remote position with occasional travel required for program delivery. The compensation for this role is expected to be in the range of $100,000 – $115,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications.
