Job Description:
OEDP is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Executive Director to lead the organization into its next chapter. The Executive Director will be responsible for driving the vision of OEDP, scaling its ambitions, and managing the growth of the organization. Key responsibilities will include developing partnerships, driving business development, conducting organization planning, leading and managing the team, overseeing financial management, and maintaining adherence to organizational policies and values.
Qualifications:
– At least 8-10+ years of experience managing programs, organizations, and staff
– Background in open science, environmental science, policy, justice, data science, or a relevant field
– Demonstrated ability to plan for growth and sustainability of an organization
– Experience in stewarding funder relationships and applying for grants
– Detail-oriented with strong management and operational skills
– Excellent written and oral communication skills
– Ability to work collaboratively and engage in discussions with diverse stakeholders
– Proficiency in environmental data and technology
