Job Summary:
REVERB is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Impact to lead their Music Decarbonization Project, manage and develop their Climate Project Portfolio, enhance sustainability practices and programs for tours and concert events, and provide scientific perspective on the impacts of their work. As the Director of Impact, you will have the opportunity to advance innovative climate solutions in the music industry and contribute to measurable greenhouse gas reductions.

Responsibilities:
– Lead REVERB’s Music Decarbonization Project by managing current projects, identifying new areas of impact, and cultivating strategic partnerships
– Manage an annual budget for decarbonization projects and efforts
– Work with the Project Management team to execute decarbonization projects on music tours and at venues
– Further develop the Climate Project Portfolio by selecting and vetting climate projects that align with REVERB’s guidelines
– Assess the climate impacts of Climate Project Portfolio funding recipients
– Support the expansion of sustainability programming at concerts, festivals, and venues
– Provide impact data to the Communications team for their written materials and social media platforms
– Measure, track, and manage REVERB’s existing sustainability and fan engagement impact stats
– Represent REVERB at panels, conferences, and in the media as applicable to this role
– Stay updated on current environmental, climate, and sustainability reporting tools and trends, particularly in the music industry

Qualifications:
– 5+ years of experience measuring and assessing environmental impacts
– Knowledge of climate technology and innovations in sustainability
– Demonstrated track record of generating ideas, strategizing, and organizing resources for impactful projects and programs
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sustainability or related field preferred
– Professional background in environmental/climate science and understanding of greenhouse gas reduction solutions and technologies
– Strong leadership and collaboration skills within a team-oriented environment
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Passion for environmental and climate advocacy

Salary Range: $75,000-$90,000 per year (DOE)
